Peruvian (FT/O)

$13.95

This Fair-Trade and Organic offering is very balanced with a rich deep aroma and clean aftertaste. It has a medium body, with an above average acidity, and a distinct floral notation in the aroma. This does well at a roast of Full City+ (medium-dark) I got notes of chocolate, creme brulee, and a rich nuttiness I couldn't quite put my finger on.

El Salvador (R/A Org)

El Salvador Flag
$14.95

I really like this coffee and noticed rich sweet notes of chocolate, almond, and black cherry. It has nice body and a mild, smooth finish. Customers who are fans of the Bolivian that we carry will most likely enjoy this a lot. Its roasts well, a little bit on the darker (FullCity+) side. This region of El Salvador is close to Lake Cuatepeque and at 1250 metres above sea level. The Las Lajas Cooperative is Rainforest Alliance certified, and aims to generate economic growth and social benefits for the community through production of coffee and other products.

Costa Rican La Amistad (Org)

Costa Rican Flag
$13.95

A beautiful example of a high quality Costa Rican offering. The flavor on this one, starts out with a brightness of cherry and raisin; The body carries it into hints of almond and a little milk chocolate. A very balanced, smooth cup. La Amistad is a farm located above 1200 meters next to the border between Cost Rica and Panama. This farm has been a family farm for generations and the family has kept much of it as natural forest. It is now a "National Private Protected Area" called Las Tablas, which forbids people from hunting, extracting wood or doing any damage to the area.

Bolivian (FT/O)

Bolivian Flag
$13.95

A very nicely balanced South American with a lot of flavor. This one starts out with just the right amount of brightness. Flavors of bittersweet chocolate and a nutty hazelnut sort of finish. Long lingering sweet finish to this one. A wonderful fair trade organic offering!

Mexican Decaf (FT/O HG)

Mexican Flag
$14.95

This Mexican Pluma has been decaffinated by a natural method, called Royal Select Water Process. Royal select is similar to the swiss water process, because both methods use water to remove the caffeine. The more widely used method which uses methylene chloride, ethyl acetate, and pressurized co2 to remove the caffeine is pretty gross and it only removes 96-98% of the caffeine. RS removes 99.9% of all the caffeine while affecting the flavor the least amount. This Mexican is a full bodied coffee with a well rounded aroma, earthy taste, and a smooth lingering sweetness.

Colombian Santa Marta

Colombian Flag
$13.95

A wonderfully balanced, clean, crisp, Fair Trade / Organic offering that makes for a great example of a fine colombian coffee.
